Tax Season Administrative Assistant - Temporary Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our team for the upcoming tax season. This seasonal position runs from mid-January to mid-April, requires a commitment of 30–40 hours per week (including Saturdays), and is located in the Parkside District of San Francisco.

Our office is conveniently accessible by public transit and offers ample street parking.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Answering phones, scheduling and managing appointments

Greeting clients and processing payments

Responding to correspondence via phone and email

Administrative Support:

Managing mail intake, processing, and distribution

Scanning and filing documents (electronically and physically)

Assembling tax returns and data entry

Assisting with organizing client materials and supporting office operations as needed

Office Management:

Maintaining a neat and professional reception/office area

Qualifications:

Proficiency in computer skills; experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word) preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Previous administrative experience is a plus

Familiarity with tax preparation environments or bilingual skills are a bonus but not required

Training on specific processes will be provided to ensure your success in the role.
