Job Title: Remodeling Carpenter

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Remodeling Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of residential remodeling (especially bathrooms and kitchens), including demolition, rough framing, build-back, and finish work. You will be responsible for executing various tasks to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform demolition work safely and efficiently, preparing the site for remodeling.

Construct and repair structural frameworks and walls through rough framing techniques.

Install, tape, and finish sheetrock to ensure a seamless surface for painting and other finishes.

Conduct light plumbing tasks, such as installing fixtures, faucets, and basic pipework.

Perform light mechanical work, including small HVAC adjustments or installations as needed.

Handle light electrical tasks, such as installing outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.

Execute finish carpentry work, including trim, molding, cabinetry, and door installation.

Install fixtures and hardware with precision and attention to detail.

Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines and standards.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Remodeling Carpenter or similar role in the construction/remodeling industry.

Proficiency in demolition, rough framing, sheetrock installation, and finish carpentry.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Clean driving record.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift

No weekends

Experience:

Construction: 3 years (Required)

Residential construction: 3 years (Required)

Construction management: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:

Salem, OR: Relocate before starting work (Required)
