Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and ensure the workplace runs smoothly. This is an hourly position with the potential to transition to a salaried role based on performance and contributions to the team.

The ideal candidate will manage administrative tasks, maintain office efficiency, and foster a positive, productive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day office operations, including supply inventory, facility maintenance, and vendor relationships.

Supervise and support administrative staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.

Oversee scheduling of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Maintain organized and up-to-date records, files, and documentation.

Monitor office budgets, process invoices, and track expenses.

Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related issues and problem-solving.

Coordinate office events, team-building activities, and employee engagement initiatives.

Implement and improve office systems and procedures to enhance efficiency.

Ensure a clean, safe, and well-functioning office environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Manager, or similar role.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.

Familiarity with office equipment and tools (e.g., printers, copiers, phone systems).

Budget management and expense tracking experience is a plus.

Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Skills and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in office management is a plus.

Minimum 2 years of experience in office management or administrative support.

Compensation

This is an hourly position with pay starting at $23 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Based on performance, there is an opportunity to transition to a salaried position.

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based and may occasionally require light physical tasks such as lifting office supplies or equipment.

Regular office hours are 9am to 5pm. Flexibility may be required for special events or deadlines.
