Preschool Teacher

Great Beginnings is an independent preschool focused on facilitating a thoughtful, curiosity driven early childhood school experience. We are looking for a creative committed teacher to join our teaching community and lead our older 2's class.

Responsibilities:

-Support Transitions from home into preschool environment.

- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool children

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow

- Incorporate gross motor development activities into daily routines

- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a safe, positive and well-rounded

experience for all students

Skills:

- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with young children

- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences

- Organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and materials

- Minimum 12 ECE Units
