Additional Kitchen Manager – Flying Pig Pub & Kitchen
Location: Oceanside, CA
Flying Pig Pub & Kitchen, a farm-to-table restaurant known for its creative cuisine and community focus, is seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to partner with our talented Chef and help lead our back-of-house operations.
What You’ll Do:
-Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen to the highest standards.
-Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, Servsafe manager certificate preferred.
-Oversee inventory, nightly orders, and kitchen organization.
-Support the Chef in maintaining high-quality standards for dishes and ingredient sourcing.
-Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to excel.
-Act as a key liaison between the front and back of house for seamless service.
-Expo experience a plus
What We’re Looking For:
-Proven experience in a Kitchen Manager role or similar leadership position.
-Strong organizational and operational skills.
-Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
-Commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
-Ability to collaborate with a Chef and support culinary creativity.
-A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
-Ability to lift 55lbs
