HVAC Construction Estimator Assistant

Phoenix HVAC LLC located in Clifton, NJ is seeking a full-time HVAC construction estimator assistant with 2+ years of experience in the construction field.

Job Description Requirements:

- Coordinate and communicate with the Estimator on all bid invitations and requirements, including but not limited to:

- Collect and review all bid project documentation, including technical HVAC plans and specifications.

- Request and obtain equipment and material quotes and prepare PO estimates.

- Understand the scope of work and provide written proposals.

- Fill out all bid sub-forms relating to each bid, including notarization.

- Provide weekly feedback on all bids fulfilled and discuss potential projects.

- Multitask on multiple projects and other assignments, including tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

- Knowledge in construction trade; HVAC knowledge is a plus.

- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.

- Ability to work independently and in teams to effectively complete bid requirements and estimates.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and possible Estimating software.
