Senior Truss Designer

As a Senior Truss Designer, your duties are to design truss systems for commercial, multifamily, and residential buildings. As the Senior Designer, you will create truss placement plans, truss design drawings, and provide technical support to customers and sales representatives.

Read architectural and structural blueprints to determine design specifications.

You must work efficiently in order to meet daily and weekly goals and deadlines.

Review other truss designers work to eliminate errors prior to production.

Work closely with customers, sales team members, architects, and engineers to ensure designs are completed correctly.

Design roof and floor trusses in ITW Alpine truss design software (Required)

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to learn new software.

Great communication skills.

Ability to be self-motivated and meet deadlines.

Must be able to multitask and handle multiple projects at once.

Design production quality truss designs and drawings.

Requirements:

Must meet deadlines.

5 years minimum in truss design using ITW Alpine Truss Design software.

Must be efficient and complete tasks on time.

Must have the desire to be innovative and provide solutions to all types of issues that may come up.

Be honest, respectful, and have integrity.

Have a good working relationship with coworkers.
