NBC Universal’s Owned Television station in the Philadelphia area, WCAU-TV, is looking for a Meteorologist.Job DescriptionImplement NBC 10’s philosophy of being the most accurate and trusted source for disruptive weather on all platformsTell the market’s weather stories in a way that connects with and captivates viewers on all platformsDevelop innovative and creative ways of presenting the daily weather storyProduce compelling graphics, including the use of Augmented realityWork with the weather team, DIGITAL and producers to create complete coverage of weather storiesPlan, report, and develop climate change stories and contentSupport the operations of Telemundo62 and NBC10Breaking Weather Cut-insUse of social media daily and especially during severe eventsPrepare and post forecasts for multiple platformsBe available at any time dangerous weather conditions occurKeep producers and managers informed of upcoming weather conditions for coverage plansSome live reporting and attendance at community and weather-related events will be requiredMake public appearances on behalf of station as an ambassador for the company
