Engineer for roof

Looking for an engineer to help with drawing up plans, we want to change the pitch of our roof, which naturally, would raise the walls of the 2nd floor. Not sure what pitch would give us a full 2nd floor, or if the structural integrity of the house can support a second floor. Engineers with their degree with or without job experience welcome, but I INSIST there at least be an appropriate degree in structural engineering, and I’ll want to see what your major was if no experience.

Willing to pay $300 w/o experience, $500 with.
