Heavy Duty Forklift Operator
Job Title: Heavy Duty Forklift OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Material Handler with industrial forklift experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and loading steel beams and other large materials.Responsibilities
Operate industrial forklifts to load and unload steel beams (20-30 ft in length)
Handle and move large, awkwardly weighted loads such as pipes, metal, paints, and other equipment
Perform general shop helper duties in addition to forklift operation
Ensure safe and efficient handling of materials within the fab shop
Essential Skills
Industrial forklift experience
Experience loading steel beams and other large materials
Ability to handle awkward weights and large size loads
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift certification preferred
Experience in a pipe yard or with moving structural steel
Ability to work in an outdoor fabrication shop environment
Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional weekends
