Diesel Mechanic

American Engineering currently seeking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Inspection of diesel powered vehicles and equipment for proper performance to include; vehicle engines, transmissions, steering brakes and other parts.

Run diagnostics and interpret results to identify mechanical problems.

Repairing or replacing malfunctioning parts.

Perform maintenance such as changing oil, checking fluid levels, rotating tires, etc.

Cleaning, lubricating and conducting routine services on company vehicles and heavy equipment.

Identifying and reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management.

Performing major repair work when necessary.

Consulting or working with other mechanics when needed.

Performing other related duties as assigned by the maintenance department.

Qualifications: 2yr Diesel Equipment Maintenance Experience Required

Requirements: Knowledge and experience on diesel equipment, hydraulics and electrical components such as Caterpillar and Cummins equipment. ASE

License: Hazmat, Tanker Endorsement & CDL License , ASE Certifications a plus
