Maintenance Technician Skill I (Full-time)

As a Maintenance Technician Skill I, you will support the Assistant Director of Engineering and Director of Engineering on the day to day operation of the Engineering Department.  You will perform preventative maintenance, service and repairs to hotel equipment including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, kitchen, HVAC, laundry, boiler, painting, locksmith, pools/ponds and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.  Hourly Rate: $38.86What you will be doing:Maintain and repair all equipment using the applicable skill sets: plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, kitchen, HVAC, laundry, boiler, painting, locksmith and pools/ponds.  Assist with repairs and maintenance as determined by the Supervisor or as needed thorough service work checklists, preventative maintenance, mechanic challenges, operation testingPerform all preventative maintenance on equipment scheduled, i.e. service work, grinding, adjustments, etc.  Inspect condition of equipment and for parts to be repaired or replacedParticipate in departmental trainings on equipment to the satisfaction of the Supervisor.  Trainings will cover specific points in the daily operations of the department.  Report status of equipment to the Supervisor through service sheets or verbal communications to ensure proper functions and safety.  Supportive to hotel wide training programs including but not limited to: OSHA, Safety, Educational and Associate Enhancement programs to assure the continual upgrading of department personnelMaintain accurate documentation of equipment maintenance and weather readingsOperate, maintain and repair boilers and associated equipment, including mixing, adding and analyzing  boiler chemicalsUpdate records of repairs and tasks performedInspect and provide preventive maintenance for suites and/or villasInventory and requisition supplies and parts as neededPerform maintenance requests as assigned
