Laundromat Attendant (part-time)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within our facility, ensuring that all linens and garments are properly laundered and presented. Responsibilities

Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder linens, towels, and garments.

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean laundry items according to established procedures.

Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and work surfaces.

Routinely monitor all machines for condition and working order and report malfunctions or issues to management.

Ensure all items are laundered according to safety and hygiene standards.

Clean and sanitize machines, folding tables, and other common areas regularly.

Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum surfaces to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.

Experience working in a laundromat or similar hospitality environment is preferred, but not mandatory.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
