Quality Control Technologist I

Follows standardized procedures and prepares samples for testing. Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Relies on limited independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required.Functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Operation and maintenance (including minor troubleshooting) of automated chemistry analyzersData entry as well as assessment and interpretation of quality control resultsTesting production and research & development samples and assessing testing resultsTeam responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Focus on customer serviceProblem solving, including ability to reprioritize and adjust workload as neededWorking with Production and R&D personnel to ensure efficient use of reagents and analyzersAble to evaluate processes for inefficiencies and suggest improvementsAttention to detailAble to work independently and as part of a team
