Administrative Assistant
We are a small but well-established accounting firm with continued growth and looking for a detailed oriented individual to join our team. This position is a unique position and busy between February through mid-April and would be part-time hours during the remainder of the year. This team member will provide exceptional service to our clients. We provide individual and business income tax preparation, monthly and quarterly bookkeeping, QuickBooks consulting, tax planning, payroll tax reporting, and compilation services for our clients.
Our firm is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team. We are looking for someone looking to work more during February through mid-April and part time hours during the remainder of the year. The ability to multi-task and being responsive to clients is essential. Strong communication and customer services skills and ability to meet deadlines important.
Responsibilities:
Process and assemble client tax returns via hardcopy and electronically
Perform administrative duties that may include but not limited to photocopying, coordinating meetings/appointments, typing, faxing, maintaining supplies, and processing incoming and outgoing mail
Handle incoming calls and direct to appropriate staff
Great and assist visitors
Payroll data entry
Sales and bank reconciliations
Managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities
Prioritize administrative workflow and manage multiple deadlines and requests
Print and send tax organizers to clients
Other duties as assigned to ensure the continued function of the organization
Education/Qualifications:
High school or equivalent (Required)
Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Lift up to 50 lbs.
