Culinary Manager for Restaurant Group $75-$85k plus bonus

This is a full time, salaried position, supervising and coaching our kitchen supervisors, and managing vendor relations.

Leader of our culinary teams, this position owns and/or upholds production, planning for volume, product inventory and purchasing, internal and external fulfillment, as well as the overall organization and cleanliness of our spaces. This position will spend 50/50 time in the kitchens and with Administrative responsibilities.

While the schedule for the Culinary Manager can be consistent (Mon-Fri), schedule adjustments may be necessary, on occasion, to ensure all needs are met.

Responsibilities:

Create any culinary standard operating procedures; Ensure proper food production (heating and cooling) and storage practices (packaging, labeling, FIFO) in accordance with safe food handling procedures; maintaining order guides, prep lists, pars

Research and development and recipe testing for menu changes

Review and improvement of cost structures

Uphold systems through training and oversight of kitchen supervisors

Long-term production planning for special events and holidays

Ensure quality control

Manage labor costs and lead Supervisors; payroll and HR responsibilities

Hire/schedule/train/performance management/ promotions/ terminations as business needs

Manage equipment maintenance and repair

Manage and maintain our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)

Oversee internal and external invoicing for wholesale product

Requirements:

2 years experience management a kitchen team

Manager’s Servsafe Certificate or the ability to obtain one

Flexibility with schedule

Able to multi-task and adapt to change; self motivated; positive attitude

Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Team mentality; able to drive behavior and results in team

Able to learn and use multiple software systems

Solid communication skills; Spanish speaking ability a plus

We provide competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base salary range for this role is $75,000-$85,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to performance, level of experience, skills, professional certifications, and specific location.”
