Senior Assistant Construction Project Manager
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
● Work with a project manager to assist with developing project schedules. Ensure that the field staff is providing accurate 3-week look ahead schedules.
● Prepare start-up packages for the field superintendent.
● Assembling start-up packages for the site superintendent

2. Green book
3. Print drawings for the site, always ensuring that the latest set is with the site super. Keep the subcontractors up to date with the latest plans.
4. Coordinate porta-potty and dumpsters
5. Review drawings, prepare take-offs and coordinate and schedule materials to the site
● Follow up with subcontractors to ensure their insurance forms have been provided prior to the start of their scope.
● Tracking and coordinating of project materials for example, restroom accessories, tile/Schluter, wallpaper, furniture, lighting package, specialty items…etc.
● Issue bid award emails to subs as provided by the PM.
● Collect all submittals and provide them to the client, track accordingly.
● Review all subcontractors provided change orders and submit to the client, review with the PM.
● Release approved change orders and track in the job folder and budget.
● Daily check-in with the site supervisor to ensure the project is running per schedule, and address any issues, accordingly, looping in the PM as needed.
● Coordinate and facilitate weekly calls with the client, AOR, EOR, and super.
● Assemble the documents to provide to the client weekly; weekly report, 3 week lookahead, RFI, submittal logs, site photos and project schedules.
● Ensure all third-party software tools are updated accordingly (Raken, PlanGrid, Timberline)
● Follow up on open change orders.
● Close out documentation to be requested and collected, initial requests to subs needs to be coordinated per the project schedule.
● Ensure as-builts are being developed by the site superintendent.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Procore.
● Strong knowledge of construction management and methods.
● The ability to read blueprints and develop take-offs and subcontractor scope documents.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across the organization.
● Experience in remodeling open businesses, complete fit outs of new spaces is preferred, ground up construction is a plus.
