Interior Designer
Job description
Interior and product designer with an award-winning firm officed in West Hollywood is looking to add a senior or junior interior designer. The company does high end residential and commercial projects of various sizes nationwide and this position is for someone who works collaboratively - but desires design autonomy, has project leadership skills including participation with clients, and wants name recognition acknowledgement in published or other media promoted efforts.
Requirements & Needed Skill Sets
A degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
2 to 5 years of experience
In office role- at our office located in West Hollywood
Residential and commercial design experience
The position is very hands on all stages and proficiency is imperative with CAD production of full sets and complete set of design, bid and construction drawings.
Knowledge and resource skill with selections and specifications of materials, furniture, finishes, unique items and the creation of custom pieces.
Project budgeting of materials and construction costing.
Experience with purchasing, expediting orders, and working with vendors are all necessary.
Exemplary in office and on-site project management skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook and PowerPoint are necessary - and Photoshop and Sketch-Up skills are encouraged.
Studio Designer software experience a plus.
There are also opportunities to participate in product design and 3d Max experience is a plus.
