As IT Manager, you will be responsible for  the entire IT operation of the property, with specific regard to but not limited to the following:Lead the daily operations of information technology to meet the highest standards of service to all stakeholders and respond to user’s needs and requests.Ensuring the management of a comprehensive and effective IT support environment for gaming (in cases where the property has a Casino) and hospitality operations on a daily basis.Provides operational expertise, advice and represents the operations service with users, vendors and guests.Provides operational input into the property’s strategic plan and unit objectives.Ensuring optimal network and applications availability in line with service level agreement.Ensures stability of IT infrastructure components (e.g. servers, workstations, networks).Monitors and accurately checks of IT server infrastructure.Resolves high level technical problems timeously.Effectively managing the IT support team including setting and monitoring performance objectivesProvide transparency and understanding of IT costs, benefits, strategy, policies and service levels.Ensuring IT security and access control in line with business needs and requirements.Protecting of business data and the movement thereof.Ensuring infrastructure is protected from malicious attacks at all times.Responsible for the Active Directory infrastructure and ensuring best practises in accordance to Group Policies and Procedures.Individual development plans to be in place to address operational objectives and strategy e.g. skills shortages, succession plans, talent management.Ensure Up to date central repository of all configuration items and fixed asset register recording of all IT assets.Ensuring budget is aligned to strategy and achieves the operational requirements.Identifying IT risks and managing the IT risk management plans to allow for business continuity in case of emergencies (Risk Register, DRP, BCP).Ensuring IT hardware infrastructure is in a well functional state in order to ensure availability to business.Ensuring Procured services meets operational requirements as agreed upon in SLA’s.Implementation of new IT initiatives, software changes and IT infrastructure.Timeously procurement of IT equipment and adhering to replacement cycles if all IT infrastructure.Manages IT change management, IT risk management and IT problem management effectively within the propertyAchieving required audit results as agreed upon by business.Achievement of all set objectives that contributes to business property’s KPI’s.Complete monthly IT reports.Compiling of standard operating procedures for property specific technologies
