Job DescriptionAssists with supervision and scheduling of all Front Office employeesEnsures all Front Office staff are trained and confident in all operations and procedures, provides thoughtful, and personalized ongoing trainingUnderstands all hotel emergency controls and procedures, responds appropriately and assumes supervisory role in any hotel emergency or safety situation as neededIdentifies and recommends solutions to Front Office team members and Front Office Manager to further employee development, drive revenue, and improve hotel processesCovers Valet and/or Front Desk shifts as needed, including vacations, illnesses, etc.Acts as a point of reference for guests who need assistance, resolves guest concerns and complaints efficiently and courteously and/or correctly refers issues to upper managementSets a positive example for coworker and guest relations, empowers team members through feedback, recognition, service, and empathyUnderstands all hotel departmental tasks including Housekeeping and Maintenance and assists as neededDevelops and maintains positive relationships with all hotel departments as well as Chandlers restaurantAssists in ordering, and monthly inventory of gift shop items and Front Office suppliesWorks to develop and maintain a positive and supportive work culturePerforms and assists with other duties as assigned or requestedPrevious experience in a customer-focused industry. Previous hotel experience preferredExperience in a leadership or management role preferredPassion for people.
