Maintenance Tech Full Time Immediate Hire

New Earth Residential is looking to hire an experienced maintenance tech who is great at AC, Plumbing, and Appliance. Must have own tools, reliable transportation and willing to hustle. On call is required. Depending on certificates pay is between $21-$23 ($23 must have Universal EPA and CPO) an hour plus bonuses. General Summary of Associate Responsibility:

To support and assist all aspects of the community operations, while reporting to and acting under the direction of the Service Supervisor & Community Manager

Knowledge / Skills / Ability:

Ability to evaluate and fulfill community common area and amenity needs, attention to detail and dedication to maintain the community

Ability to independently establish priorities, manages time effectively, and fulfills assigned objectives and projects

Ability to respond to and resolve unexpected problems and handle priority changes in a fast-moving, fluid environment

Demonstrated proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and internet

Good verbal and written communication skills, strong organization skills, and ability to work well with onsite staff, customers, supervisors, corporate office associates and vendors

Must be able to effectively communicate, comprehend, speak, and read in English. Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Preferred Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business discipline are required

HVAC/R certification (HVAC & Refrigeration) Preferred

Must be available for emergency calls on nights and weekends when needed

Ability to follow detailed oral/written instructions

Deliver SUPERIOR Customer service

Ability to track and inventory material and parts

Responsibilities:

o Provide assistance by performing general maintenance duties in common areas

o Handles “on call" duties whenever needed

o Responsible for unsupervised, timely completion of occupied apartment service requests in accordance with predefined company and property standards

o Responsible for all aspects of maintenance of the property, including resident satisfaction and contribution to property occupancy goals

o Participates in preventive maintenance programs and ongoing maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems of the property, to preserve and maintain the asset

o Keeping the grounds and common areas clean at all times

o Other duties as assigned

Community Inspections and Quality Assurance Review

o Assist and report on inspections and quality assurance review results
