Gas Station Clerk Wanted

Lake Bluff Convenience LLC is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented Gas Station Clerk to join our team. As a Gas Station Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive excellent service while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient environment at our gas station and convenience store.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist with fuel pump operations, answer questions, and resolve minor customer issues to ensure a positive experience.

Sales Transactions: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and process payments for fuel and store items.

Store Maintenance: Keep the convenience store clean and organized, stock shelves with products, and ensure displays are attractive and well-maintained.

Safety & Security: Follow safety protocols for handling fuel, monitor the premises for safety hazards, and report any suspicious activities or issues immediately.

Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks, restock items as needed, and inform management of low-stock or out-of-stock items.

Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with other employees, support opening/closing procedures, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Basic math and cash-handling skills.

Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks.

Reliability and punctuality.

Previous retail, customer service, or gas station experience is a plus, but not required.

Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
