Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to comprehend data requirements.

Ensure compliance with data privacy and accessibility regulations.

Develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, PySpark, and Spark SQL.

Integrate data from diverse sources into a unified data platform, while ensuring data quality and consistency.

Implement ETL processes to convert raw data into actionable insights.

Manage data storage solutions, including Microsoft OneLake and Azure Data Lake.

Continuously optimize data processing workflows for efficiency and scalability.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of data engineering processes and workflows.

Keep abreast of industry trends and generation of new tech suggestions for data platforms/tools.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.

Proficient in Microsoft Fabric tools (Azure Data Factory, PySpark, and Spark SQL).

Solid programming skills in Python and SQL.

Familiar with data lakehouse and warehouse architectures, components, and modeling.

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, and Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services.

3 - 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
