Waterjet Operator & Painter

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain a waterjet cutting machine to fabricate precision components for signage.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications to ensure accurate cuts.

Set up materials, program the machine, and monitor the cutting process.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating a waterjet or similar CNC machinery preferred.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.

Prepare surfaces and apply paint, finishes, and coatings to signage components.

Operate spray painting equipment and ensure even, high-quality application.

Mix paints and match colors to meet project specifications.

Sand, clean, and mask parts as needed to achieve a flawless finish.

Maintain painting equipment and workspace in clean, working condition.

Qualifications:

Experience with spray painting or industrial painting preferred.

Knowledge of paint types, mixing, and application techniques.
