SCA Pacific Case Management offers an exciting opportunity to begin a rewarding career in the field of Disability Management Services in the Worker Compensation arena. The primary function of Vocational Case Management is to facilitate an individual's return to work using a variety of resources.

We offer extensive training and support to ensure a successful transition from a Vocational Case Manager Assistant (VCMA) to a Vocational Case Manager. VCMAs work in tandem with Vocational Case Managers who mentor and educate you in this very specific field of human services.

Due to state requirements, a Bachelor's Degree is required (no exceptions)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:

Assists with case reviews and determination of need for vocational rehabilitation services.

Provides internal support to supervising Vocational Case Manager; preparing correspondence, reports and case documents, monitoring client treatments, assisting with routine follow up calls, scheduling appointments and preparing files.

Evaluates case information and prepares formal plan to correct client's vocational limitations within their physical limitations.

Arranges rehabilitation services as needed to include necessary medical, psychometric and additional appointments/testing.

Develops skills in vocational research utilizing specific job related resources.

Learn and apply Vocational Counseling skills to develop rapport, assess the client's profile, and coordinate the process to ensure timely resolution, effectively deal with confrontation and provide goal direction.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree required.

Valid Washington Driver's License and access to a reliable insured vehicle.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; particularly Word.

Skilled in conducting internet research.

Strong work ethic and high accountability.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people of varying socioeconomic backgrounds, disabilities and ethnic diversity.

Meticulous attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task.
