Quality Manager - Job Shop/Contract Mfr
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to support and manage our ISO 9000 Quality Management System. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in ISO 9000 quality procedures and documentation, along with hands-on inspection experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the inspection of machined and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Ability to program and operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) using CMM Manager Software.
Generate First Article Inspection (FAI) reports including Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation.
Generate corrective actions for identified quality issues.
Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to ISO 9000 quality procedures.
Foster a culture of continual improvement across all departments.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 7am - 3:30pm
Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing quality systems, specifically ISO 9000.
Strong understanding of quality inspection processes and standards.
Experience programming and operating CMMs; familiarity with CMM Manager Software is preferred.
Proficiency in generating FAI and PPAP documentation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
