TITLE: Program Coordinator – eat! Food Distribution 
STATUS: Non-Exempt; Part-time (with potential to go full-time) 
REPORTS TO: Director, eat! Food Distribution  LOCATION: Hybrid - Remote & On-Site at Farmers’ Markets  COMPENSATION: Starting at $25/hour 
SCHEDULE: 28 hours a week, up to 8-hour shifts, WED-SUN. Typically 3 Days at Markets (Driving shifts), 1-2 days remote. About Eat! Food Distribution Program The eat! Program is our bulk food distribution program that impacts both our small farmers and our communities living near our farmers' market locations. Through eat!, and in conjunction with community partners with direct access to families in need, we distribute food boxes filled with fresh, local produce to families in need throughout LA & Ventura Counties. In addition to our food boxes, the eat! program curates a seasonal CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program for market shoppers who are interested in a weekly delivery of produce. We also currently work with the LA Regional food bank to assist with the procurement of bulk produce from our farmers. Additionally, we are testing our wholesale delivery program for restaurants, schools, and other community partners and reusable food wares program at one of our markets. As the Program Coordinator, you will be directly involved in all aspects of our food distribution programs and will need to be adaptable and responsive to the growing and changing needs of the program. This position will primarily assist the Director, eat! Food Distribution in the following areas: RESPONSIBILITIES  Assist with the coordination of bulk deliveries to community locations, working with our Program Director to communicate with farmers and community partners. Assist with invoicing, excel spreadsheet tracking, and other online organizational duties. Manage CSA membership communications, including creation of a weekly newsletter, answering member e-mails, and communicating with farmers to curate the weekly selection. Works on-site at the farmers market three times per week, packing orders and delivering orders to CSA members, CSA pick-up sites, and our restaurant, school, and other wholesale partners. Occasionally attend on site farm visits, community partner site visits, and other related events. Assist with management of the eat! online platform to troubleshoot issues and test online ordering with our software developers. Assist and/or be responsible for the transportation of food wares to and from the Atwater Village Farmers’ Market to a cleaning kitchen.
