Marina Groundskeeper/ Building Maintenance

General Description: Support position with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:

Prepare and maintain landscape:

Mow and maintain lawns

Maintain flower beds

Rake and blow leaves.

De-ice walkways in winter

Shovel and use snow blower to clear entry ways, walkways and docks.

Plow for snow removal.

Keep docks clean

Keep related equipment well maintained.

Maintenance projects on main building, boat shop, out buildings and docks.

Clean and maintain support vehicles/ trucks.

Dock building and repairs

Special projects as assigned

Job Skill Requirements:

Must be 18 or over with a valid driver’s license.

Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment and tools.

Unlimited or unimpaired ability to walk, bend, climb, lift 50 lbs and work safely around water, on a ladder or in confined spaces.

Ability to work independently, with an eye for detail and appreciation for cleanliness. Must be trustworthy and dependable with a solid work ethic and organizational skills.

Building and construction experience a plus
