We are always seeking experienced craftsmen, lead man capabilities and those eager to hone their woodworking skills. Minimum of 4 years experience. Must be capable of handling challenging woodworking templating and fabrication designs with solid wood construction. Veneer experience to produce high end millwork, furniture and casework. Hull building or boat building skills are not necessary but is certainly a plus. We are a team that prides itself on accountability, being on-time, honesty and focused individuals with a positive attitude. No nonsense, leave your drama at home shop. American Yacht Restoration (AYR) is Palm Beach County's premier woodworking company that specializes in repair/restoration, custom furniture and cabinetry for the luxury yacht industry. Our experienced craftsmen provide the finest quality custom woodworking and joinery to the most discerning clients. Some of the work that we commonly do includes:
Yacht Repair/Restoration: Veneer repair & replacement, flooring installation, teak deck work, rot/water damage repair, modification for new A/V units & appliances, cabinetry hardware, trim work, formica/laminate, and of course refits for interior design changes.
Cabinetry: Custom cabinetry both freestanding and built-in for the Galley, Vanities, Salons and Staterooms. Desks, TV Lifts, Berths, Buffets, etc.
Furniture: Marine tables of all shapes and sizes with client defined edging, patterns, leaf, hinged and CNC inlays.
CNC Operator / Rhino / Corian / Acrylic / Starboard experience is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Starting from $25.00 per hour, pay commensurate with experience.
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
