Linehaul Driver (Chicopee, MA) for FedEx

Compensation: $26-$28 / Hour

Shift: Night/3rd Shift (Back home after every shift!)

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our FedEx team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong understanding of various truck types and operations.

Responsibilities:-

Drives tractor trailers to deliver and pickup freight between company terminals, customer facilities, or meeting points.

Travels regionally and cross-regionally while pulling single, double, or triple trailers.

Follows established pre-trip, post-trip, freight handling.

Conducts inspections by following established safety and quality control procedures.

Hooks, unhooks, and assesses equipment in compliance with Department of Transportation guidelines.

Retains and maintains records, logs, forms, and load-related paperwork.

Requirements:

- Must be 21 yrs of age or above

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. CLASS A Drivers License Required

- At least ONE FULL YEAR/ACCUMULATIVE 365 DAYS Proven experience with TRAILERS

- Knowledge of load securement techniques for various types of freight.

- Strong physical stamina for loading/unloading and long hours of driving.

- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.

- Ability to pass drug/alcohol screenings and background checks.
