Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Real Estate Controller in Dallas, Texas. The job function lies within the real estate industry and involves using various accounting software systems. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of financial statement preparation Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting Utilize NetSuite and Microsoft Excel to maintain and manage financial data Conduct month-end and year-end closes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date Prepare year-end financial statements and reports Execute journal entries as required for effective financial management Handle roll forwards and Form 1099 preparation Manage private real estate financials and partnership tax matters Resolve financial inquiries and issues using CRM and Crystal Reports. Requirements Must possess skills in Month End Close. Knowledge of Private Real Estate is required. Capable of preparing Year-end Financial Statements. Proficiency in Year-end Close is necessary. Expected to handle Year-end Reporting. Experience in Bank Reconciliations is essential. Familiarity with Roll Forwards is a must. Ability to manage Form 1099 is desired. Proficient in Partnership Tax. Experience with Journal Entries is necessary. Must be able to prepare Financial Statement. Proficiency in using NetSuite software is required. Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
