KIPP NYC Family Ambassador - Part Time

Position OverviewThe Family Ambassador plays a vital role in fostering strong relationships between families, the organization, and the community. Successful Family Ambassadors will drive forward the implementation of a targeted student recruitment plan to achieve our schools’ enrollment goals, including activities like community outreach, new family engagement, and direct new student recruitment. Family Ambassadors will also receive training to deepen partnerships with existing families and community leaders, expand KIPP’s community of families, and create sustaining connections with new families in our school's community. Through a part-time commitment of 12-20 hours each week, Family Ambassadors will work within the Enrollment Team and on behalf of school teams to implement recruitment and outreach activities, manage leads, connect with the broader school community, help raise awareness and visibility of the organization, and supporting new families through the enrollment process. This position may require weekend and evening coverage as well.
