Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented bench Jeweler to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing and design/retail studio/store. As a bench Jeweler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and fabrication of high-quality jewelry pieces, repairs, knowledge of laser welding and various other machines ensuring that each item meets our rigorous standards of excellence.

Duties

Experience in stone setting (all types), ring/bracelet sizing, soldering, assembly, and polishing

Chain and clasp repair

Laser welding

Re-tipping prongs

Ability to work on gold, silver and platinum

Trustworthy

Excellent organizational skills

Customer service minded individual with a high standard for quality work product

Maintain bench and keep tools in working order

Open to feedback and willing to make changes in craft to produce products that meet the Towne Jewelers standards.

Experience

Previous experience in a jewelry manufacturing or factory setting is required.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to jewelry making.

Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment and machinery. Must be skilled at laser welding and soldering

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual productivity.

Front of store experience and taking in order repairs is a plus

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
