Job Title:Event AssistantReports To:Event ManagerSalary:$45000-$54500 per yearJob Summary:The Event Assistant will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events. This position involves assisting with logistics, vendor management, and on-site operations to ensure the success of events. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, fundraisers, and other special occasions.Logistics Management: Coordinate event logistics such as venue setup, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.Vendor Liaison: Communicate with vendors to confirm bookings, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of services.On-Site Support: Provide hands-on support during events, including registration, guest assistance, troubleshooting, and monitoring schedules.Administrative Tasks: Maintain event calendars, prepare materials, and ensure accurate record-keeping.Marketing Assistance: Help with event promotions, social media campaigns, and creating materials such as invitations or signage.Post-Event Activities: Gather feedback, assist in creating post-event reports, and support efforts to improve future events.
