As an IT Quality Assurance Sr Manager you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Sr Test Manager joining our team to lead and manage our Test Team, serve as an interface point with program and FSA system owners and coordinate test planning and execution activities across our functional, development, technical, and infrastructure teams. Applications test scope includes testing on RESTful services and API’s. Communication is important within our organization; we use the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to empower our development team.HOW A SR TST MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Manages the review and evaluation of software products and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards.

Lead and manage test planning and execution

Possess clear vision and priorities to guide and support team members on day to day activities

Manage test team members’ goals and performance

Strategize and develop requirements traceability around testable requirements and ensure complete coverage during test execution

Provide status reports on test planning, execution, and defect management to Leadership and client management.

Coordinate defect management and resolution with other teams, e.g., functional, development, system engineering, DBA, hosting

Develop and maintain testing deliverables and work products, including test plan process, test cases, test scripts, and test results

Monitor testing to ensure established processes and procedures are followed

Prepare for and conduct test readiness review meetings and test status meetings with client management

Manage resource allocation, budget, timesheet approvals, and estimate to completion activities for Test Team

Obtain FSA sign-off on test cases, test scripts, and test results

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

BS/BA or the equivalent and 10+ years experience in IT working with various software development lifecycle methodologies and frameworks

Minimum of five years experience leading Test teams, test methodologies, and software qualify assurance

Must have prior experience interacting with senior client management

Experience with risk-based testing

Strong test automation knowledge and skills, building frameworks, e.g., BDD/Cucumber; TDD/TestNG

Experience with Agile, incremental development and testing, or SAFe

Experience leading and managing test cycles for Integration testing, System End-to-End, User Acceptance Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, and Infrastructure testing

Experience managing concurrent testing for enhancement change requests, break/fix changes, and special projects

Experience managing and allocating test resources across all test efforts

Experience managing budget and forecasts for all test efforts

Security Clearance Level: 5/6C Public Trust

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

Experience with the following test management tools: ReadyAPI, GitLab, JIRA, Zephyr

Knowledge of with common web development frameworks (Angular, Docker, React, Spring, Node.js, jQuery, Microservice Design, etc.)

ITIL v3 Foundation or ITIL v4 certification

PMP certification

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
