Pro House Manager
The primary responsibility of the Modlin Center for the Arts Pro House Manager is to oversee the safety and security of 600 patrons before, during, and after performances in the Modlin Center venues. The House Manager supervises all front-of-house staffing and operations for Modlin Center events. The Pro House Manager is the primary point of communication between various Modlin Center staff members at events.This is a part-time, non-benefited position.Required Qualifications:Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skillsCrisis management skillsExcellent organizational skillsProven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyPreferred Qualification:A retail or service background is helpfulAbility to use a Motorola two-way communication deviceAbility to use email, shared drives, and electronic filing systemsAbility to use a Macintosh computer and Microsoft Office Suite for MacintoshEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:High school diploma or educational equivalentMinimum two years of professional experience in house managementRetail experience or experience working with the publicWORK HOURS:This is a temporary part-time position that works as needed. Primarily eveningand weekend hours with the flexibility required depending on the production schedule as neededSALARY STRUCTURE:Hourly rate range $18 - $20EOE
