Reds Electrical Services, Inc., a leader in commercial electrical contracting services, is seeking a Fabricator to join our dynamic team at our headquarters in Whitesboro, TX. This full-time, in-person role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where craftsmanship and safety are top priorities.

As a Fabricator, you’ll play a critical role in transforming raw materials into high-quality custom metal products. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn, develop skills in metal fabrication, and contribute to the success of our projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

-Operate safely and adhere to all internal and OSHA-specific safety practices.

-Learn to interpret shop drawings, work order packets, and welding procedures.

-Assist experienced fabricators with layout and fit-up.

-Use basic measuring tools and fabrication equipment (bandsaws, chop saws, grinders, etc.).

-Understand and utilize metal fabrication hand tools.

-Complete required equipment training and certifications.

-Participate in the Reds Electrical Safety Training Program.

-Load, unload, and secure products for transport.

-Measure, calculate, and accurately record material usage and project time tracking.

-Handle materials safely and efficiently, preventing contamination and damage.

-Identify and describe common materials.

-Learn to set up and operate MIG and stick welders.

-Set up and operate a CNC machine.

-Cut parts accurately using a bandsaw and/or chop saw.

-Bend materials to job specifications.

-Clean and deburr parts to remove contamination before welding.

-Maintain quality control standards and documentation procedures.

-Perform basic tool repair and maintenance.

-Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

-Qualifications and Skills:

-Willingness to learn and develop skills in metal fabrication and equipment operation.

-Basic understanding of measuring tools and fabrication processes.

-Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
