Looking for: Studio Technician

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Studio Technician to join our creative team. This position involves hands-on work in our ceramics and sculptural studio, supporting the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Reclaim and process clay using studio machinery

Keep the studio organized and clean, ensuring all work areas are safe and functional

Maintain and repair studio equipment as needed

Load and unload boxes of clay and bags of plaster (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly)

Support artists and staff with various studio tasks

Assist with studio preparation for classes and events

Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable working with basic hand tools and machinery

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Must be able to keep a clean and safe working environment

Interest in learning about ceramics and sculptural work

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a studio setting (ceramics, sculpture, or other related fields)

Familiarity with clay, plaster, and basic studio equipment
