Position: General Laborer
Pay: $20-$23 per hour
Experience: No experience required—training provided!
The General Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks to support the daily operations of the facility. This is a temporary position with the potential for consideration for full-time, permanent role based on performance and business needs. This includes maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Duties involve loading and unloading materials, cleaning work areas, assisting skilled workers, operating basic machinery, and performing other manual tasks as needed to contribute to operational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform daily general tasks to support Cultivation team and Management which may include cleaning, organizing, and assisting with equipment setup and breakdown.
Assist in moving, lifting, and transporting materials and supplies as needed.
Monitor and maintain workplace conditions, ensuring safety standards are met.
Sanitize and disinfect cultivation areas to prevent contamination or pest issues.
Move plants, soil, nutrients, and equipment as needed throughout the facility.
Operate basic cultivation tools and machinery such as trimming machines, irrigation systems, and light fixtures
Performing plant maintenance at all stages of plant development
Assist with mixing and applying nutrients and amendments to support healthy plant growth.
Inspect plants for signs of pests or environmental stress.
Load and unload materials and supplies safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
Support other team members in cultivation tasks as needed.
Help with packaging, labeling, and transporting cannabis products when necessary.
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with company standards.
Maintain accurate records of activities, supplies, and tasks.
Support other team members in various tasks as directed by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in general labor or similar field preferred.
Ability to perform physically demanding work and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and within a team.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn new tasks.
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Work Environment
Work primarily in indoor facilities, exposed to various environmental conditions such as temperature fluctuations and noise.
Use of equipment may involve exposure to chemicals or materials that require proper safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Technicians may work in loud environments due to equipment like fans, pumps, and ventilation systems.
Job Requirements
Must be flexible with working hours, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Ability to operate basic tools and equipment; familiarity with general labor tasks is preferred.
Must pass a background check and comply with all legal and company regulations.
