Technician Apprentice

Reeder Trausch Marines is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Marine Mechanic Apprentice to join our dynamic team. As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced marine mechanics to gain hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of various marine vessels. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of marine engines, electrical systems, and other onboard

equipment

- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on boats and other marine vessels

- Collaborate with senior mechanics to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues

- Maintain Accurate records of repairs, services, and inspections

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

- Clean and organize the workshop and work areas

- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skill and knowledge

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical system

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
