Senior Payroll / HR Specialist

Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Payroll / HR Specialist with expertise in Paycom to join our client’s dynamic team on a contract basis. This contract position focuses on either payroll processing or human resources administration, depending on your area of expertise. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing Paycom's capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.Key Responsibilities:Payroll Processing (if applicable):

Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payrolls accurately and on time.

Manage employee timecards, deductions, and benefits integrations within Paycom.

Reconcile payroll reports and prepare for audits or compliance checks.

Stay up-to-date on payroll regulations and implement necessary system updates to ensure compliance.

Human Resources Administration (if applicable):

Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management using Paycom.

Manage benefits enrollment and tracking, ensuring accurate records in the HRIS.

Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to support strategic decision-making.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws through system management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience using Paycom HRIS for payroll processing or HR functions (minimum 2 years preferred).

Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and/or human resources best practices.

Proficiency in analyzing and reporting data using HRIS tools.

Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in process improvement and system optimization within Paycom.
