Mechanic for Scout Internatinal ( free stay in Tahoe )

Hi there,

I am looking to hire a mechanic to help me fix and update and old Scout International I have, that broke down last summer.

It’s also an opportunity to stay up in Tahoe at my cabin for free, for 4-6 weeks while you work on the truck. I would of course pay for all parts but labor might be discounted for free place to stay. We can work costs out not worried about it.

Upgrade I’m looking for

Fix doors

Replace seats

Install working stereo and speakers

Update engine, hoses, etc

All in all this would be a fun project. It’s an old beat up Scout, I’m just trying to get it updated so it’s reliable in the summer time for short 1/2 mile drives. It doesn’t really leave the neighborhood.

If interested, let me know. Totally happy to loan out my cabin so someone could also enjoy Tahoe living while working in the car.

Ideal timeframe is April to late May.
