Overview

We are seeking a skilled Gel Coat Patcher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying gel coat materials to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of mechanical processes. This position requires hands-on work in a dynamic environment, where you will collaborate with other team members to meet production goals.

Duties

Apply gel coat materials to surfaces according to specifications and quality standards.

Perform surface preparation, including sanding and cleaning, prior to gel coat application.

Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to achieve desired results.

Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement lean manufacturing practices.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in auto body repair or similar fields is preferred.

Proficiency in using hand tools and mechanical equipment.

Knowledge of auto painting processes is advantageous.

Experience in warehouse environments is beneficial.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
