POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Economic Services – Coordinated Entry Outreach Lead

Salary: PW06 Steps 2-4 $4,201.57 - $4,588.65 DOE Longevity Steps 5-8 $4,796.82- $5,485.88

The position includes a state retirement system, with a deferred comp program available. SUMMARY

Coordinated Entry (CE) is the access point to services for people at risk or experiencing homelessness. Households are able to access CE 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through an online application. Members of the community can also access CE by calling the Homeless Housing Network line to speak with a CE Specialist during regular business hours Mon- Fri 9am-5pm. The work of a CE Specialist can be challenging, but rewarding work. It requires someone that can address each client interaction with trauma informed care and patience. Chelan County follows the State’s Housing First model, which means that the first step is accessing Coordinated Entry.

Under supervision of the Housing Program Coordinator, this role provides a wide variety of administrative and outreach support to the Chelan-Douglas Coordinated Entry System; develop and support outreach initiatives, and conduct community engagement; serves as a community liaison; performs support work related to department activities; may create, implement, and participate in technical processes, procedures, and programs; and performs related work as required.
