Bicycle Mechanic/Rental Agent For Bike Rental/Tour Co. | PT/FT

Vista Trail Bikes is looking for an experienced Bike Mechanic to join our team.

We are seeking a PT or FT Mechanic to maintain a fleet of Electric Bikes(City/Cruisers), Cruisers, and Fat Tire Bikes. Duties include keeping our fleet of bikes in good working order before and after they go out on rentals. Other duties will consist of renting bikes, processing payments, rider orientations, bike operation, and building bikes when business demands. Our wrenching station is loaded with everything you need to get your hands greasy and get our bikes built and maintained. Starting in Spring. Days we currently have left/available are Sunday thru Tues/Wed(4 x 10 hrs or 4 x 8 hrs - flexible)

Qualifications:

Ideally 2+ years of shop experience repairing bikes but may consider less.

E-Bikes experience a Plus!

Keep a clean and organized shop area

Building, diagnosing, and repairing bicycles.

Good communication skills to work with the public

Capable/Willing to do a rescue when a guest's bike has an issue on the trail

Strong multitasking skills with the ability to work independently

Flexible schedule (ie. 4 days @ 10 hrs, or 5x8)

Pay rate:

$21 to $24 per hour depending on experience

$31+ per hour attainable with bonuses and tips on busier days!
