First Student is hiring a Mechanic to join our team in Fredonia, NY, servicing local school districts, including Fredonia and Dunkirk. What You’ll Do as a Mechanic
Perform regular maintenance and repair tasks on our fleet of newer vehicles, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, ensuring all work is completed accurately.
Assist with mobile emergency services as needed.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles.
Valid driver’s license and a willingness to obtain a CDL (we’ll train you!).
A mechanic’s tool set.
Passion for learning and growing your skills through ASE certification (we provide training, testing, and bonuses!).
