Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.

Perform high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.

Act as a clinical resource to students, staff technologists and other hospital personnel.

Assure current standards of practice for the unit.

Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients

Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order

Every day Rad Techs could perform any variety of imaging examinations such asx-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, to name a few. RT's will also need to enjoy working directly with people as you play a huge role in the patient experience.To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging as a Rad Tech. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for timely and accurate diagnosis.Qualifications:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified RT candidates will need the following:

Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging including Surgery and Trauma as required

One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers

HS diploma or GED required

Registered Technologist, Radiology-R.T. (R) (ARRT) required

Current Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required
