Job Summary

Sushi Meshuga, a fast-casual sushi restaurant specializing in high-quality, delicious sushi, is seeking a friendly and hardworking Cashier/Counter Person to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for greeting customers, taking both in-person and phone orders, processing payments, and issuing receipts. Your commitment to excellent customer service will help ensure all transactions run smoothly and that our customers have a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet each customer with a warm smile and provide active assistance throughout their visit.

Accurately take customer orders in person and over the phone.

Operate the register to process sales and complete transactions efficiently.

Handle payments by cash and credit card, ensuring accuracy and security.

Issue receipts, process refunds, and address customer inquiries professionally.

Pack delivery orders, ensuring accuracy and promptness.

Collaborate with the team to support restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming counter area.

Qualifications

Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
