Concrete Coating Technician Job ($20-30 / hr)

Job Description: Concrete Coating Technician

Position Overview: Seeking a skilled, reliable, and motivated Concrete Coating Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing high-quality concrete coating floors for residential & commercial customers in the Triangle area, ensuring customer satisfaction from start to finish. Full training at no cost to the employee is included. This position comes with a high growth potential upon solid performance.

Location: This position will serve the greater Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area meaning the candidate can live anywhere in that general radius.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect necessary materials (polyurea kit, flake, etc.) from warehouse and drive 18’ outfitted trailer to customer site

Prepare concrete surfaces, including cleaning, repairing cracks, and grinding using Lavina 30” GE propane grinder

Mix and apply concrete coatings (polyaspartic, flake, etc.) using appropriate tools and techniques

Operate equipment such as grinders, sprayers, and other tools

Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and comply with safety protocols (e.g., wear appropriate PPE)

Manage on-site logistics, including material handling, setup, and clean-up

Troubleshoot and resolve any installation challenges

Qualifications:

Previous experience in concrete coating installation or a related field is preferred but not required due to on the job training

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Physically capable of lifting materials (up to 40lbs) and performing manual labor

High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship

Proactive communication with management

Compensation & Benefits:

$20-30 an hour based on experience and skill level with potential performance-based incentives (both negotiable)

Paid on the job training with company-provided tools and equipment
