Customer Service Specialist
Kelly Services is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to serve as a customer-focused liaison, promoting and implementing functional excellence in customer service operations. The successful candidate will provide domestic customer service tailored to the needs of the business and its customers while driving continuous improvement in quality processes through best practices, training, and auditing.Position: Customer Service SpecialistLocation: Auburn Hills, MISalary: $24.50 based on experienceKey Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional service.
Utilize various business unit tracking systems to resolve disputes and monitor sales orders through the fulfillment process.
Issue credit/debit memos and process samples/rebates as necessary.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the domestic order management system, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with demand and supply planners, market segments, other customer service representatives, plant sites, warehouses, freight forwarders, carriers, and financial contacts to meet customer needs while upholding quality standards.
Support the corporate Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance process related to customer service.
Identify areas for improvement and implement effective changes to enhance service delivery.
Minimum Skills Required:
Proven experience as a Customer Service Representative, beyond call center or retail experience.
Ability to work Hybrid scheduling. 3 days in office and days from home.
Knowledge of the Sales to Cash (STC)/Requisition to Pay (RTP) process is preferred.
Excellent phone communication and interpersonal skills with various functional groups including CSRs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Management, Sales and Marketing, Finance, and Transportation personnel.
Proficiency in SAP-R3 or equivalent; a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in order placement, deliverables creation, and invoicing. (required)
Intermediate to high-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (testing in MS Office required).
Experience with Salesforce.com and SharePoint is a plus.
Ability to adapt to new conditions and personnel while encouraging confidence from customers and internal stakeholders.
Strong multitasking and project management skills, with the ability to translate needs into actionable implementation plans.
Excellent organizational skills to provide accurate follow-up and understand inventory management.
Educational Qualifications/Experience Needed:
Required: College degree, previous customer service experience, SAP-R3 or equivalent experience.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
